Indicator Food Available per capita
Definition Food available per capita refers to the volume of food commodity available in its original (unprocessed) form for consumption by each member of the population.

Net Food Disposable – the amount of food commodity available in its original (unprocessed) form for human consumption. This is usually equated or made equivalent to the quantity consumed. Net food disposable (NFD) is residual, i.e., it is the remainder after all the “use” parameters are taken into account.
