Indicator 1 Fishing Boat/Vessel
Definition Fishing boat/vessel refers to any boat, ship or other watercraft equipped to be used for taking of fishery species in the performance of any activity related to fishing. This includes a raft.
Indicator 2 Municipal Fishing Operator
Definition A municipal fishing operator is a person who takes the technical and administrative responsibility of managing the day-to-day municipal fishing operation. He/she is responsible for making major decisions, including the management and supervision of hired workers in his/her municipal fishing operation. He/she may do the catching or gathering of aquatic products alone or with the members of his household. He/she may not do the catching or gathering of aquatic products but may employ others to do the job for him/her. He/she may be the owner of the municipal fishing boat and/or fishing gear.
