Definition	The data on main source of water supply provide information on the proportion of families with access to safe water supply. Considered as clean and safe sources of water supply are community water system (which may be piped into dwellings or into yards or piped into public taps), and protected well. Bottom 30% – In descending order of the family per capita income, the bottom 30% refers to families in the bottom 30 percent of the total income distribution. This grouping of families was used as a proxy for those falling below the poverty line. Top 70% – In descending order of the family per capita income, the upper 70 percent refers to the upper 70 percent of the total families in the income distribution. It is the complement of the bottom 30 percent.
