Indicator Temporary Crops
Definition Temporary crops are crops with less than one year growing cycle. Examples are rice, corn, rootcrops such as sweet potato, cassava, and vegetables such as squash, string beans, cabbage, and mushroom. In the Philippines, some temporary crops grow for more than a year such as strawberries, pineapple, sugarcane, "siling labuyo", and eggplant. (see 2002 for verification if same definition in 2012)
