Indicator Goat Inventory by age
Definition Inventory refers to the actual number of animals (in bird) present in the farm as of a specific reference date regardless of ownership
Reference Date:
January Round - as of January 1
Buck-sexually mature uncastrated male goat usually kept for breeding
Doe-sexually mature female goat that has give birth
Kids- young goat of either sex below three months of age. It also includes doeling which is a young female goat kept for breeding that has attained puvberty but has not given birth
Others-Includes castrated(steer) and ready to breed buck.
