Indicator Annual Per Capita Poverty Thresholds
Definition Poverty threshold is the minimum income required for a family/individual to meet the basic food and non-food requirements.
Method of Computation Poverty threshold = FT/(FE/TBE)
where:
FT = Food Threshold
FE - actual food expenditure of families within the +/- ten percentile of the food threshold
TBE - total basic expenditure of of families within the +/- ten percentile of the food threshold

n= total number of individuals
