Remarks Limitations Act No. 3753 otherwise known as the Civil Registration Law of 1930 mandates that all vital events shall be registered. Despite this, there is still a problem of under-registration of vital events primarily due to lack of awareness of the people on the importance of vital registration especially in remote areas.
In view of the above limitations, caution is necessary in the interpretation of data, since information presented is not adjusted for under registration both for local and foreign vital events.
