Notes:

The source of data for the new series is the Retail Price Survey (RPS) of Commodities for the generation of the monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) with base  year 2012 and 2018.

For the old series, the source of data “Retail Price Survey (RPS) of Selected Agricultural Commodities” which was already discontinued effective February 2021.

The average monthly prices of the old and new series are not the same as their  frequency  and number of sample outlets covered in the  collection of prices are different.
