Indicator Employment in Tourism Industries
Definition Employment in tourism industries may be measured as a count of the persons employed in tourism industries in any of their jobs, as a count of the persons employed in tourism industries in their main job, or as a count of the jobs in tourism industries (IRTS 2008 para. 7.9.)
Method of Computation / Estimation Procedure Derived ratios from Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industries (ASPBI)were applied to total employment of Labor Force Survey (LFS) to get the number of persons employed in tourism industries
